Quick & Simple Hummus

Looking for a Sabra Hummus dupe? Here is a quick and simple hummus recipe with garlic, tahini, and some spices. An amazing Mediterranean snack packed with protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Chick peas (drained and rinsed)
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • ¼ cup Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice (1 whole lemon)
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2-3 tbsp Water

Garnish

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Parsley
  • Paprika
  • Chili flakes

Instructions

  • Start by draining and rinsing chickpeas. Smash and peel garlic.
  • In a blender or food processor add chickpeas, garlic, salt, cumin, olive oil, water, tahini, and lemon juice.
  • Blend until smooth or until your desired consistency.
  • Garnish with high quality extra virgin olive oil, paprika, and fresh parsley.
  • Serve with pita bread or fresh veggies and enjoy!
