Quick & Simple Hummus
Looking for a Sabra Hummus dupe? Here is a quick and simple hummus recipe with garlic, tahini, and some spices. An amazing Mediterranean snack packed with protein.
Ingredients
- 1 can Chick peas (drained and rinsed)
- 3 cloves Garlic
- ¼ cup Tahini
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ¼ cup Lemon juice (1 whole lemon)
- ½ tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2-3 tbsp Water
Garnish
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Parsley
- Paprika
- Chili flakes
Instructions
- Start by draining and rinsing chickpeas. Smash and peel garlic.
- In a blender or food processor add chickpeas, garlic, salt, cumin, olive oil, water, tahini, and lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth or until your desired consistency.
- Garnish with high quality extra virgin olive oil, paprika, and fresh parsley.
- Serve with pita bread or fresh veggies and enjoy!
