This green smoothie is high in protein, hydrating, and packed with tons of nutrients and probiotics! I like to use coconut water instead of juice for some added electrolytes and to avoid any added sugar. Although coconut water does have sugar, they are naturally occurring, while fruit juices have tons of added sugar. But If you want this to be a little more low-cal, then swap for water :) All of the above works. This recipe isn't overly "green" or overly sweet, it is just right. Ingredients
HandfulSpinach
½Banana (Optional: frozen)
¼inch Ginger
½Avocado
Juice of half a lemon
½cupCoconut water
¼cupKefir
1scoop Four Sigmatic Vanilla Protein Powder
¼tspMaca powder
¼tspSpirulina
½cup Ice
Instructions
Add all of your solid ingredients into a blender - spinach, frozen banana, ginger, & avocado
Next add liquids - lemon juice, coconut water, kefir
Last add powders - protein powder, maca powder, & spirulina
